Payments

Visa Credit, Visa Debit, Visa Electron and Mastercard are accepted as methods of payment. All transactions are in pounds sterling. We use www.securetrading.com to process all card payments as well as PayPal UK.

Delivery

The cost for deliveries outside Mainland UK will be calculated upon checking out.

In most cases the standard service on orders received prior to 4:00pm for delivery to addresses in Mainland UK is that the goods will be delivered within two to three working days (i.e. If you place your order before 4:00pm on Monday your goods should be delivered by Thursday).

Most deliveries are done by a courier service of our choice. As soon as the goods are dispatched we have available consignment/tracking number for your reference. This will enable you to track the whereabouts of your delivery using the couriers Web-Site.

Unavailability

In the event that a product is unavailable for whatever reason, we will contact you to ask you whether you would like us to supply a suitable alternative product. We will not supply you with an alternative product unless we receive instruction from you that you wish us to do so. If you opt not to purchase an alternative product, we will refund the full value of the product and any applicable carriage charges.

Risk and Title

The Products will be at your risk from the time of delivery. Ownership of the Products will only pass to you when we receive full payment of all sums due in respect of the Products, including delivery charges.

Pricing

All prices quoted are excluding VAT.

Guarantees

We take great care to ensure that all the products featured on this website are of a high quality.All productsfollows the manufacturer's policy, details of which will be included with the product.

If a product is faulty and under guarantee you should follow the procedures detailed below.

Returns & Refunds : Items not required

We aim to provide you with as much information as we can about each product so that you can make an informed purchasing decision. However, to give you additional confidence, we will allow you to return any item if it is not what you require within 30 days of receipt as long as it has not been used and is returned in its original undamaged packaging.

All you need to do is to contact us on the number on the contact page and we will issue you with a Returns Form, explain our simple Returns Procedures and discuss with you the easiest and most convenient way for you to return the item(s) to us. You should then return the item(s) to us by the agreed method together with a completed Goods Return Form . Unfortunately we cannot accept proof of posting as confirmation of delivery.

Upon receipt of the item(s) we will refund the full value of the item(s) subject to them being unused and in their original condition and packaging. Unless otherwise agreed, you will be responsible for the costs for returning the goods to us.

 

Faulty, Incorrectly Supplied and Damaged Items

If an item has been incorrectly supplied, received damaged or is faulty then all you need to do is follow the Returns Procedures detailed above. We will then arrange collection of the item(s) free of charge.

Upon receipt of the item(s) we will refund the full value of the goods and any carriage costs
within 30 days.

Our right to vary these terms and conditions

We have the right to revise and amend these terms and conditions from time to time to reflect changes in market conditions affecting our business, changes in technology, changes in payment methods, changes in relevant laws and regulatory requirements and changes in our system's capabilities or any other changes. You will be subject to the policies and terms and conditions in force at the time that you order products from us, unless any change to those policies or these terms and conditions is required to be made by law or governmental authority (in which case it will apply to orders previously placed by you), or if we notify you of the change to those policies or these terms and conditions before we send you the Dispatch Confirmation (in which case we have the right to assume that you have accepted the change to the terms and conditions, unless you notify us to the contrary within seven working days of receipt by you of the Products).

PURCHASING PROCESS

A. Placing order.
The technical steps required to place order and to create a contract between you and us are as follows;

* You place your order by pressing the 'Place Order' button on the 'Final Confirmation' page at the end of the checkout process. A simple set of instructions on each page of the checkout process guides you through the process of placing an order.

If, at any stage during the checkout process, you make a mistake or wish to change the order you may do so by following the instructions on each page.

* Upon receipt of your order we will send you an email to confirm the products that you have ordered, the Terms and Conditions which will apply to the contract between us and you when this comes into existence and the costs (including any carriage costs) that we will charge. Please note that this is not an order confirmation or order acceptance from Ripon Engineering Supplies Ltd.

* You may cancel your order at any time prior to it being dispatched from our warehouse by either emailing us at sales@riponeng.com or telephoning us on our 01765 602064. If we have already received payment for the products ordered we will give you a full refund.

* As soon as your order is dispatched from our warehouse, we will send a dispatch confirmation email. At this stage your order is accepted and the contract between us is completed.

An order may not be accepted as a result of any of the following;

The product(s) ordered not being available.
Your payment not being authorised.
The product(s) ordered being incorrectly described or priced.
You not being eligible to order due to a failure to meet the criteria set out in our main [Terms and Conditions.]

* After the order has been dispatched, you may still cancel the order by following the procedures set out in the 'Cooling Off Period' section of our main Terms and Conditions.
B. Filing of Orders.
We retain the details of the orders you have placed for a minimum of 1 year and you can view them either by logging in to our website using your email address and the password you selected when you placed the order or by writing to us at our registered address

For security reasons, no credit or debit card details are ever shown on our website.
C. Contract Language.
The contract between you and us will be concluded in English.
